Student Affiliates of School Psychology

Our SASP chapter provides a network of support for students, opportunities to take part in philanthropic activities, and a forum to share ideas, future prospects and knowledge of issues relating to the field of school psychology.

The purpose of SASP is to create fellowship among students and an integrated communication network for legislative issues, professional/ethical issues, internship/employment opportunities, shared concerns across a variety of topics, and information across other disciplines of psychology impacting the future of our profession.

Joining SASP is simple. All you need to do is attend SASP meetings! Membership is open to all students admitted into the Georgia State University School Psychology Program. This includes students admitted into the MS/EdS and the PhD tracks.

In addition to SASP, we recommend that you consider joining the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP) as well as the American Psychological Association (APA) Division 16.

Remember, we have to collaborate to graduate!
